
Participation in the Implementation of the European Strategy: Challenges and Opportunities
The EU Strategy for the Danube Region — is a macro-regional strategy aimed at solving the problems of the territories around the Danube, which includes four regions of Ukraine.
The Association “EU Strategy for the Danube Region” is an association of local governments in these regions for the implementation of the Strategy, including promoting the reduction of disparities in economic, social, territorial development, strengthening the scientific, technical, investment, tourism, and cultural potential of Ukrainian regions.

LOWER DANUBE BASIN COUNCIL
The work of the advisory body, the Lower Danube Basin Council, is extremely important. It ensures the coordination and alignment of interests and efforts of all stakeholders in the implementation of the projects of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region in the Lower Danube sub-basin.
The Council studies all relevant projects, provides proposals for the implementation of priority measures for the ecological improvement of the sub-basin and their financing mechanisms. Additionally, it actively promotes the development of international cooperation.
