On 10 May 2023, during Slovenia’s EUSDR Presidency, a meeting was held between
The meeting, which brought together almost 80 participants, focused on cross-priority areas and cooperation between MLAs. The Interreg programmes highly appreciated the benefits brought by the MRS: the huge number of stakeholders and the project platform. The event provided a framework for relevant stakeholders from the EUSDR governance networks to share their activities and experiences on the MRS implementation process.
The EUSDR presented its activities and implementation tools for the period up to 2023, as well as the Guide on how to implement the EUSDR in EU programmes. The publication โEUSDR Integration Week 2023โ, 12-16 June, was presented. Five thematic workshops will be organised with a focus on the specific use of integration tools/activities to be implemented as support to the authorities.
The Slovenian Presidency highly appreciated the value of such a meeting for MinRegion, as it includes expert opinions, experience and lessons learnt from the governing authorities. There are still many opportunities for cooperation, and the meeting of the MA network is already a step in this direction, accelerating the implementation process at the local, national and regional levels.
