A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Association of Local Governments ‘EU Strategy for the Danube Region’ and the Association of Amalgamated Territorial Communities.
‘This is a significant event on the way to strengthening Ukrainian communities and sustainability of their development. Establishing a dialogue is the only constructive way to cooperate,’ said Yuriy Maslov, Director of the Association of Local Governments ’EU Strategy for the Danube Region’ Yuriy Maslov, Director of the Association of Local Governments of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region.
It is expected that the conclusion of the memorandum of cooperation will allow both organisations to interact more effectively, studying the problems and needs of communities and developing ways to solve them, taking into account cross-border specifics.
The signing of the memorandum is also of great importance in the context of the implementation of European integration policy and a guarantee that the associations’ efforts will continue in the future.
